09:49 pm I didn't think a train ride could last that long. Owww my back. I can't wait to get some sleep in my bed. It was nice to get some work done too, even if most everyone was here. I've got paperwork to start my new job soon too. January I think. When the students are going to be buying their books. Mm.. 01:38 pm Staying over at Talim's quad has been great! I'm not getting that weird feeling anymore or weird people going in and out of that other kid's room all the time. Geez, there's more activity with him than the whole Organization. PLUS I get to help her study which is.. ah... well I hate studying but for some reason, I don't mind so much when I'm helping her. In fact, I learned some stuff I never even knew before, pretty cool man. Oh right! I gotta study for my own classes too. I promised her and I don't want to let Talim down ever. So.. uh.. guess I better head to the library.

09:00 am - Entry: 005 Apologies to my students for my belated return from Thanksgiving Break (though I'm sure some of you cheered upon hearing the news of my extended absence) something very unexpected happened that kept me in Los Angeles longer than I had anticipated. Because of this loss of lecture time, the last two chapters listed on the syllabus will not be covered and thus, will not be pertinent to your final exams. Yes, this means all of my classes. For those that are worried: no, the dropped chapters are not vital to your subjects - they were merely some topics I thought would be interesting for you all to learn. Also, for those students with borderline grades I extend a chance for redemption. I'm allowing an extra credit assignment to be handed in for an extra 75 points in the class -- or roughly 3% of your final grade in the class. This assignment will be a five-page paper covering one of the two dropped chapters (it is your choice). It must include a summary court case where the topic was addressed, how it was vital to the case, and what you would have done were you the defense or prosecution and your reasoning (one side only). This must be in my hands by 5pm on the last day of finals or it will not be counted towards your grade. ( For those concerned about my absence... )
